Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. (“ATIN ITO”), is the corporate spin off of a pioneer Filipino variety store and bakery of the same name located in Broadview and later on Pape Avenue, East York, a well-known Filipino enclave in Toronto. After more than twenty years of serving the local community, ATIN ITO has developed a reputation not only for serving much-loved Filipino dishes and delicacies but also as a trustworthy money remittance and cargo (balikbayan box) business. From that single store, ATIN ITO now has branches and affiliates from coast to coast offering innovative remittance services at competitive exchange rates and reasonably low fees. ATIN ITO’s cargo (balikbayan box) business is preferred for its reasonable cost, efficient tracking system and reliable service.

As it has been doing since 1991, ATIN ITO is continuing its dedicated service to the Filipino-Canadian community by ensuring that hard earned money and goods from its loyal senders in Canada are received by their beneficiaries in the Philippines.

NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS

Currently, ATIN ITO is offering the following services:

• Money remittance – solely focused on the Filipino Canadian community and restricted to the transfer of funds from Canada to the Philippines.
• Cargo (balikbayan box) door-to-door pickup and delivery.
• Fast food at the Bathurst and Wilson / Howard St. and Sherbourne St. branch.
  As a money services business, ATIN ITO is registered with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre (FINTRAC) of Canada. It has been consistent in its commitment to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to anti-money laundering and terrorist financing while at the same time securing the privacy of its customers.

OUR CANADIAN NETWORK

ATIN ITO’s future plans include expanding its network of agents from British Columbia in the west, to Yukon and the Northwest Territories in the north, to Quebec and the Maritimes in the east. This one MSB network primarily aims to serve Filipinos who are now working in these areas as well as Filipino-Canadians who have settled there. The use of new and innovative technology certainly makes this vision attainable.
