Terms and Conditions (User Agreement)
By your use of this site and our services you agree with and accept the following terms and conditions.
This is an online money remittance service by which an individual, who is at least eighteen (18) years old, can register a user account to send up to a maximum amount of seven hundred dollars ($700) CDN per day to a registered recipient (beneficiary) in the Philippines.
Personal information - Personal information is information about you that makes you identifiable and may not be otherwise publicly available such as your name, address, e-mail and phone number. You, as the user, must provide your true, accurate, current and complete personal information as required by the system. Specific information will also be required from your recipient (beneficiary).
By law, Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. is required to gather such personal information as is necessary for verifying client identity and efficient processing of your transaction. Your use of this site confirms your consent to the use; retention and legal disclosure of your personal information (see our Privacy and Security Policy).
User Name and Password – When you register an account, you will be asked for a user name and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You are responsible for any and all activities that occur under your password or account identification. We ask that you immediately notify Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. Without limiting any rights which Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. may otherwise have, we reserve the right to take any and all action, as it deems necessary or reasonable, to ensure the security of the site and your account, including terminating your account, changing your password, or requesting additional information to authorize transactions on your account.
Notwithstanding the above, Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. may rely on the authority of anyone accessing your account or using your password and in no event and under no circumstances shall Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. be held liable to you for any liabilities or damages resulting from or arising out of (i) any action or inaction of Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. under this provision, (ii) any compromise of the confidentiality of your account or password and (iii) any unauthorized access to your account or use of your password. You warrant and represent that you are using the account under your own name and is not sending money for a third party.
Communications – Being an online service, all communications between you and Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. shall be through electronic means including but not limited to website postings and e-mail notices. For this purpose, you shall maintain your e-mail account active and promptly inform us of any changes to it. You shall be solely responsible for checking e-mail notices sent to you by Atin Ito Remittance Ltd., which shall be deemed received by you twenty-four (24) hours from the time it was sent. The site provides you the option to print paper copies of your transaction for your reference.
Service Fee and Exchange Rate – For each transaction you submit, you agree to pay Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. a Service Fee in addition to the amount you wish to send to your recipient. The exchange rate will be posted on the website but your transaction shall be processed based on the exchange rate and service fee posted at the time you click the submit button. Payment is due at the time you submit your transaction for processing. Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. reserves the right to change the service fee and exchange rate at any time, without notice.
No post-submission changes - No changes to the transaction shall be allowed once you click the “SUBMIT” button. It is your responsibility to make sure all transaction details are accurate.
Payment – At this time, you can only pay by online Interac© using debit cards issued by and connected to your own valid deposit accounts in the following financial institutions: Bank of Montreal, TD Canada Trust, Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) and Royal Bank of Canada.
Verification - By submitting your transaction for processing, you warrant and represent that you are paying through your own bank account in any of the above enumerated financial institutions and that you have sufficient funds to pay for the transaction including any fees. You authorize Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. to make inquiries to the appropriate financial institutions for the purpose of verifying your identity and validating your user account. Further, you agree and consent to Atin Ito Remittance Ltd.’s use of a consumer/ credit reporting service to verify your identity. The use, retention and disclosure of any information obtained in these client identification measures shall be in accordance with law and Atin Ito Remittance Ltd.’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Privacy Policies.
Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. reserves its right to require you to provide additional documentation if necessary based on applicable law and its AML policy (see AML Policy). Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. may, without notice, hold or cancel any transaction; suspend or terminate any user account if it finds your transaction or account violates these Terms and Conditions, ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD.’s AML policy or any law, regulation, or ordinance.
Cut-off time for processing –Pay-out - Your transaction will be processed and ready for pay-out as follows
Delay - Transactions may be delayed and/or cancelled for reasons that include, but are not limited to verification of identity; validation of your transaction, payment instrument or recipient bank account; anti-money laundering or terrorist financing compliance review and fraud; and/or pay-out partner business hours or system availability.
Cancellation and Refund – The sender may be eligible for a refund if the transaction was cancelled as long as the funds have not been paid out to the recipient (beneficiary). To request the cancellation of a transaction, the sender must contact ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD. within ___ hours/days from the date of transaction. Your submission of an application, transaction, and request for cancellation or refund is subject to acceptance by Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. in its sole discretion and can be declined.

ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD. may cease to operate the site and reserves the right to terminate your access and use of any part of the site or any service made available through it at any time without notice for any reason, subject to the rights you have under these Terms and Conditions.
In no event shall Atin Ito Remittance Ltd., its owners, directors, officers, employees and agents be liable or responsible to you or anyone else, for any damages whatsoever and howsoever caused (including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive) arising out of or in connection with this site; services made available through it or information in it, or your ability or inability to access or use the site or the information, or any action or decision made by you in reliance on the site or information in it, or any errors in or omissions from the site or the information, or any unauthorized use or reproduction of the site or information in it, even if Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. has been advised in advance of the possibility of such damages.
As part of its responsibility as a FINTRAC registered money services business Atin Ito is strongly committed to ensure that the site and service are not used for any illegal purpose. Therefore, by use of this site you agree to abide by the following:
The use of this site or ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD.’s services shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute which cannot be resolved between us shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement, together with all the provisions incorporated in it by reference represents the entire agreement aand understanding between you and ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD. concerning the use of this site and the services made available through it. This agreement replaces and supersedes any prior agreements between you and ATIN ITO REMITTANCE LTD. concerning the use of this site and services made available through it.
This site and the services made available through it, are provided on an “as is” basis without any express or implied warranties, representations, or endorsements with respect to the website or any information found in it, including without limitation, warranties as to merchantability, operation, non-infringement, usefulness, completeness, accuracy, currency, reliability and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. Remittance Ltd., does not represent or warrant that the site will be available and will meet your requirements, that access will be uninterrupted, that there will be no delays, difficulties in use, defects, incompatibility, failures, errors, omissions or loss of transmitted information, that no viruses or other contaminating or destructive properties will be transmitted or that no damage will occur to your computer system. You have sole responsibility for taking protection and backup of data and/or equipment and for taking reasonable and appropriate precautions to scan for computer viruses or other destructive properties.
All products and services of Atin Ito Remittance Ltd. that are described, made available or provided on this site may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. The information provided, including the exchange rate, is believed to be reliable when posted, but there is no guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current at all times. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the site may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors, and Atin Ito Remittance Ltd., its officers, employees and agents assume no obligation to update it. The information or the site itself may be changed, withdrawn or terminated at any time without notice. Changes may be made to the terms and conditions at any time without notice by updating this posting. You agree to review the terms regularly, and your continued access or use of the site means that you agree to any changes.
